Super Singles Event!

Join us for our 2026 Super Singles event.
This will be a fun event for all!! RSVP on Lome.
Entry will be $60 per dog. However to encourage 2026 membership renewal we're offering a $25 discount for event entry if you renew your membership for 2026 prior to or day of event.
Please see our club email for more information regarding this fun for all event.

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded for both the junior and open series.
Rules:
Limit 2 dogs per handler (Must own the dog you are entering)
Stakes:

Junior Stake: A dog may be restrained at the line and must return to the line but need not deliver to hand.

Open Stake: All dogs that have passed an AKC Senior Test, AKC Master Test, HRCSeasoned Test, and/or an HRC Finished Test are considered Open dogs forpurposes of Super Singles. Open dogs must be steady at the line with no restraint.

You can talk to your dog if needed to encourage steadiness.

Each dog will get six single marks given time permits (judges discretion) (three land, three water). Dogs will be graded on their marking ability and style. Scores will be posted after each series. Scoring criteria can be found below. No electric collars allowed unless you would like to run “out of contention”.
We will also be having a delicious BBQ and the event. All proceeds will be used to fund future Club events and purchase equipment.
Super Singles Scoring Formula
10 Pinned the mark
9 Winds bird and hooks into mark
8 Short hunt, stays in area of the mark
7 Hunting to the mark with nose down
6 Medium hunt, hunt covering large area
5 Long hunt in area, has trouble finding mark
4 Gets lost, leaves area but comes back to find mark
3 Cheats test by avoiding water or cover
2 S.O.B. – Stumbles on bird
1 No clue, but finds the mark
0 Handled to mark or verbally assisted
