Welcome to the Inland Valley Retriever Club

The Inland Valley Retriever Club (IVRC) hosts monthly training days for members at Prado Recreation Dog Park. Training for hunt tests is very similar to training your dog for actual hunting. Whether your goal for your retriever is AKC hunt tests or developing a reliable hunting companion, the Inland Valley Retriever Club can help you reach your goal.

Our Club exists to bring together retriever owners interested in getting the most out of our their wonderful dog(s). No matter the retrieving breed, working with like-minded enthusiasts pays off with clear and apparent advances in the quality of our dog's work.

Training Days - What You Need to Know:

Join us for our a Club training days @ the Prado Recreation Dog Park (17505 Euclid Ave, Chino, CA). We will start shortly after the facility opens at 7:30 AM. There is no cost to attend a training day but the facility does charge a $15 (cash only) gate fee.

Make sure to bring a chair, water and snacks for you and your dog, sturdy shoes you don't mind getting dirty, sun block/hat, leash, collar/E-collar, and whatever else you need to be comfortable in the field. We also advise bringing a kennel for your vehicle, as most keep their dogs in their vehicle in between runs.

The IVRC will provide all the other equipment and quality instruction. In order to make this a successful training day, please come prepared to help out in the field or at the line if you are physically able. It should be a great day of training and we look forward to seeing everyone!.

Be sure to check out our Facebook Page for more details/updates and be sure to volunteer to help - it's a lot of fun! Also check-out our Training Day page for photos from past events.
